  This week I cast shadows with my flashlight at home in my bedroom. Cast can also be used as a noun. My dad broke his wrist while playing tennis and had to get a cast.

  Wizards reported they experimented with flashlights to cast different types of shadows. They noticed that there were more shadows cast on brighter days than cloudy days. Wizards composed sentences using cast as a verb meaning to cast out a fishing line, to cast eyes in various directions, to cast pennies into a wishing well, or to cast out old toys,etc. by donating them to charities, etc.
