  I am reading the book James And The Giant Peach by Roald Dahl. I see a giant peach 100 times the size of a person and James. Also I see a bunch of insects smiling and the old aunts that are cruel to James. I would not change anything because it shows all of the characters you'll meet in the book. The cover was not what made me choose the book because I just told my mom to buy me about 5 Roald Dahl books and she happened to get me James And The Giant Peach.

  The book i am reading is Goosebumbs by R.L Stine and its a field of screams. three comments i have for this is that its a good book because its not so hard to follow along with the whole story. I also find it cool mysterious which I like. Its really cool by having monsters and zombies and the cool scarecrow cover. the cover was something that made me choose the book because it had a cool cover and looked very interesting to read.

  I am reading the book called The Million Dollar Throw by Mike Lupica. Three things that I see on the cover is, a boy, a boy throwing a football, and a football stadium. I would change the background of the book cover because you cant really tell that it is a football stadium. Yes, the cover made me choose the book because I really like to watch football and reading books about football players and biographies about them!

  - The cover looks like the uniform that prisoners would wear in a concentration camp.
  - The cover is plain, except for the stripes.
  - It is a very dull cover.
  
  3. Is there anything you would change about the cover of your book?
  
  The book might get more attention from young readers if it featured a picture of Bruno at the fence on the cover.
  
  4. Was the cover something that made you choose this book?
  
  No. I chose the book because some of my students were reading it and I thought it might make a good recommendation for other students.

  No I would not change the cover, I like it just the way it is.

  The cover did not make me choose the book. Some of my friends were reading it and they said it was good so I decided to try it out. Also I saw the movie and I wanted to seee if it is the same to compare.

  The only thing I would change on the cover is that the kid is shooting a basketball in a hoop and the ball stops halfway, that's the only thing I would change on the cover.

  Dear Mikey,
  I have not read Goosebumps Field Of Screams, but I have read many other of them and I can tell by reading those that Field Of Screams is a spooky tale. I might read it for my next independent reading book because it seems interesting. I am probably going to read one of my spooky books from the magazine that I ordered for my next book so that's related I guess. I'll check up on you if I get a chance to read Goosebumps Field Of Screams. AAAhh!

  I haven't read James and the Giant Peach, but I think I saw the movie a long time ago. I have had a lot of students who have read books by Roald Dahl. Also, there is a movie based on The Witches that you might want to see. I know you've read that book recently. See you tomorrow! --Mr. C.

  The book I am reading is There’s A Girl In My Hammerlock by Jerry Spinelli. The first thing I see on the cover if the book is a boy and a girl in a referee position for wrestling. The second thing that I see and catches my attention is there a girl in stripped pink shorts and a white tank top in the back with a weird but mean and sour look on her face. Then when I also look in the back I see five other boys laughing and covering their mouths. I don’t think there’s anything I would change about the cover of my book I like the way it is and it’s what really made me decide to pick it. Yes the cover was something that made me choose the book that and the title.

  I have read The Last Song. It is really a good book tell me what you think of it when your done. I love having a little talk with people who have read it also it just makes you understand the book more!
