Ahhhhh, the holidays!

Love, love, love Christmas (and the days off from school, too!)

We all know and love Christmas, but now we're going to learn about some less familiar holidays that many people celebrate all around the globe.  For the next three weeks, merit students will be getting a whirlwind tour of holidays all over the world.  We'll be studying about different people, celebrations, customs, traditions, and languages.  Of course, while we have fun learning, we'll be improving our own vocabulary as well -- myself included!

Mrs. Hawkins, just wanted to let you and students know that I truly enjoyed each one of the presentations on herpetology. They put on a wonderful class project on reptiles and amphibians and they are to be commened for all of their hard work. For those that din't get to see it, I say "missed a treat". Each one of the students spoke well and presented well. I must say I can tell you put in a lot of work also. Keep Up the Good Work! Job well done. So So Proud of you guys.
