    Journal - What is your New Year's resolution?
    Return work
    Hand out Ransom  (outside reading book)
                  Students also received guided reading questions - if lost they may retrieve them on my information and direction page.  The students are given 6 weeks to read the novel and fill in the questions.  I will check on them each Friday for a formative assessment and on 2/4/11 they will have their test on the novel (summative assessment). 
       
       Students had shortened classes so we could show the movie version of "A Christmas Carol"

       The students will fill in a Venn Diagram and receive a classwork grade for English class.
