    PHS AP English students came over and talked to our students about the
    MANDATORY summer reading for their Freshman English Class.
    Parents please go to the PHS web-site for more information.

    Students were given time again to work on their project that is due on Tuesday 6-7-11

    Reading Check on ch 14 & 15 - to check to see if students read last night for HW
    Group work - Clay Marble project due Tuesday 6-7 (many are not prepared)
    Each student met with Mrs. Lamontagne to discuss their progress on the project and received a HW grade.
    If your child did not receive a score of 5 that means that they were not prepared.  All they needed to have done today was to have selected:
        the theme
        Written assignment choice
        Visual assignment choice

    They did not have to have any work done only their choice in the type of work they will do - this tells me that the time I gave them to discuss their project with a partner if they want one was wasted on chatting not working.  Students were give 3 opportunities to work with partner or on their own during class times. 

    Begin HW - read ch 16 & 17
