    Katniss is prepped by Effie, Haymitch, and Cinna for her interview. What is the purpose of the tribute interviews?  Why is she uncomfortable? Cinna advises Katniss to "just be yourself." How does his advice help her to relate to the audience?  

    Tuesday's HW...Reply to blog. Read chapter 10. On a post-it write an event/detail you want to discuss. Due on Friday.

    Blog response #2: Wednesday's HW or Thursday during class~due on Friday:
    Why does Peeta choose an alliance with the Career tributes instead of Katniss? Why do the careers allow Peeta to join them?

    Blog response # 3: Over the break HW: read Part II. What was your favorite part from Part II? Explain why and describe the characters involved and their significance to the story.

    Blog #4: What were your feelings while reading about Cato's battle with the wolf-like mutations? Collins gives a description of the attack, but leaves a lot to the reader's imagination. Did you think it was believable or unrealistic?
