At 2:30 today, the 8th graders exited their classroom. As our soon-to-be graduates traveled from the upper hallway to the lower hallway, every student from Pre-K 3 through 7th grade lined the vestibule outside their classrooms and cheered and waved to the 8th graders as they made their way along the route.
Upon reaching the lobby, the 8th graders, took turns ringing the school bell and passing it on to their classmates.
Finally, the last 8th grader rang the bell and turned to pass it to a representative from the 7th grade. She will ring in the new school year on the first day of school in September as a member of the Class of 2013!
