Lisa=a,Ben=b,Kristen=c,Mike=dLooked at each clue and saw the only one it could be. Kristen has to be multiple of 3. Ben's has to be odd. Figured out how many pets to make 9 total, and knew there had to be more pets.
Colin V. from Mrs. Jude's class I started with Lisa. Lisa has 9 people in her house with more pets and less people so the only number on the graph that could be Lisa's is 4 people. Then, I did Ben. There is an odd number of people and pets in Ben's house and the only odd number on the graph is 5 so that is for Ben. Then I did Kristen. It said there are 3 times as many people as pets, and the only number that shows that fact on the graph is 6, so Kristen has 6. That leaves Mike to have 8. Kristen - 6 Ben - 5 Lisa - 4 Mike - 8
I found out Kirsten has 6 people in her house because 6 is the only number that can be divided by 3 because there is 3x as many people than pets.Ben had 5 people because 5 was the only odd number.Lisa has 4 people because there is 9 people and pets in her house total and there are more pets than people .Mike has 8 people because it was the last answer.
There are 6 people in kristin 's house because 3x2=6. There is an odd number of people in Ben's house and 5 is the only odd number. There are 4 people in Lisa's house. The only other option was 8 but that would make too many people.Mike has 8 people because 8 is the only remaining number.
I figured that Kristen has 6 people living in her house because 6 is the only multiple of 3. I knew that Ben had 5 people in his house because 5 is the only odd number. I knew that Lisa had 4 people living in her house because 4 people are less than 5 pets and 4+5=9 total pets and people. That left Mike with 8 people in his house.
