Hello First Grade Friends!
I hope that everyone had a great Christmas and holiday with their family! I am sure that all of you are enjoying your break from school just like I am! I would love to hear what you did or are doing now on your winter break! Ask Mom or Dad if you can put a comment on the blog so we can hear about the exciting things that have happened or wonderful gifts you have received. Several of you went to fun places. Is anyone bored and ready to go back to school and see their friends again? I hope everyone is remembering to show the life principles to your parents and siblings during your break! I guess I could share what I have been doing. We went to a candlelight service at our church on Christmas Eve and then went home to cook. I had 9 people at my house for Christmas dinner. After Christmas we went to Jacksonville, Arkansas, to have a Christmas dinner with my family. There were about 30 people in one house. On the 6 hour trip (each way) I played with my husband's new iphone I got him and read a book, The Same Kind of Different As Me, that Mrs. Schultz had told me about. It was an awesome book and I am so glad that she told me about this book. I even asked for it for Christmas! Today we took down the Christmas decorations. Let me hear what you have been doing!
