  By "techniques" I mean writing tools such as direct or indirect characterization, and symbolism. What writing techniques does your author use to develop (create) his/her characters? See your notes from our Short Story Unit.

  Yes Dylan, you are allowed to use YouTube. Make sure you come to class during Lunch to start downloading the clip. That way it is ready to go for your presentation.

  Well.. does your author use the setting to tell the story? Or does your author use flashbacks to tell the story? Foreshadowing? a first person narrator?
