Morning Activity - We built with peg blocks today. The children were very creative with their building and play.
Cognitive Activities - Colors - Teddy Bear Bingo
Numbers – Pegboard numbers
Letters – Using cut out letters we practiced putting the letters of our names in the correct order.
Center Time – We played in our center areas and made a letter collage (The boys finished theirs yesterday)..
Morning Circle – We sang our rainy day song and held onto the umbrella. We changed our weather frog’s clothing.
Reading – We reviewed all of the books we had read over the past two weeks and they were really focused on remembering one specific thing that happened in each book. Every child did the hand motions for the Eensy Weensy Spider – It was so adorable, I wish I could have caught it on videotape.
Afternoon Language Class – The students do various activities some cooked some painted a big yellow school bus as a group project.
Looking Ahead – Tuesday 20th is “A” day in our classroom
Wednesday 21 is Picture Day
Thursday 22 is Yellow Day
