First Day of School

Welcome!
Our first day of school went well!  The children were wonderful listeners.  I am sure it was a lot to take in for one day!  So many new things.  They were troopers though.  We worked on getting a daily routine in place and even got a nice head start on our reading and math lessons.  Tomorrow is art day.  If your child has a smock, please send it in.  A note will be coming home soon from the art teacher about smocks. 
Please look through the binder that came home with your child today and return the emergency forms as soon as possible. 
I look forward to getting to know all of you over the next few weeks!

    LOVE the binder idea. I think it will help keep everything organized. I liked the folder idea in Kindergarten but the binders are EVEN BETTER!

    Hi Mrs. Miller,
    I found a great app on my phone that allows me to enter the weekly spelling words and how to say them. The app then tests you on the words. I think it is very helpful and David is learning quickly. I thought maybe someone else might find it useful. The App is called My Spelling Test: free (by Funflip Studios)
