Homework: Write two paragraphs about your interpretation of “Freedom…yesterday and today,” drawing on the connections that you already made between the American Civil Rights Movement and the Arab Spring (or current civil rights issues/movements). Due Tuesday, 12/6 (A Day)/Wednesday, 12/7 (B Day)
On Tuesday/Wednesday we will work on adding an intro and conclusion. The whole first draft is due Thursday, 12/8 (A Day)/Friday, 12/9 (B Day).
The final draft is due Monday, 12/12 (A Day)/ Tuesday, 12/13 (B Day).
The assignment sheet and rubric can be found on the Documents page. Students need to follow all the formatting guidelines IF they want their paper considered for the competition. If they just want to turn it in to me and not enter it in the competition, they can hand write it.
