    All classes have finished a ten point quiz on chapters 5-6 of The Watsons Go to Birmingham. A Day students will have the quiz on chapters 7-8 on Tuesday; B Day students will take the quiz on Monday. If students aren't up to that point in the book, they can check one out from me.

    Included on the quiz will be the words mortify, mortal, revive, and vivacious, as well as one question from the "Question for Quiz Consideration" box.

    Students finished up their quizzes on chapters 1-4 of The Watsons Go to Birimingham. They practiced adding important passages to their double entry journals and discussing in their groups.

    No homework.

    Today, students turned in the final drafts of their persuasive papers.

    Then, we compared and constrasted the experience of reading silently vs. listening to an audiobook.

    Period 7 has taken the quiz on chapters 1-4 -- the rest of the classes will take it Thursday/Monday.
