    We have learned the following topics this year:

    Introduction of yourself; Descriptions (emotional, physical); Classes/School; Day of the Dead; Christmas; Judaism; Latin and Arabic Roots; Family; Food; Parts of the Body; Sports; Instruments

    Present tense AR, ER and IR verbs, ir, estar, ser, tener, Stem changing verbs (e-->ie, o-->ue, e-->i), gustar, tocar and jugar

    Your presentation may draw from any of these topics. I highly suggested this format:

    Describe yourself
    Describe two members of your family

    Reading Final: 750-1000 words read

    You will receive three readings that you may study at home. One of them will be the final. You will have to answer ten comprehension questions. Missing accents and spelling is NOT penalized here but all answers must be in Spanish.

    200 points (IB Criterion E times 2)

    Written Final: 200-300 words
    B Day: June 21

    You will receive six writing prompts that you may study and practice at home. Two of them will be the final. You must be able to write 200-300 Spanish words. Missing accents and spelling does count here.

    200 points (IB Criterion C and D)

    Oral Final: 3-5 minutes
    B Day: June 23

    You will have a conversation with a partner, timed for three minutes, and a monologue timed for two minutes. The following are the topics chosen by class:

    Conversation 1: You and your partner are trapped on a desert island
    Conversation 2: You and your partner wake up to find you're the only living people, everyone else is a zombie
    Monologue 1: What animal would you be and why?
    Monologue 2: If you were a pirate...

    You don't know who your partner is nor what topic(s) you'll have. Be prepared for all four.
