For some reason, I love October.  Not because I like Halloween, but because it's the month that we change from summer to fall.  It starts to get dark a little earlier. It's not quite the holiday season, but there's the anticipation that they will soon be here.  What do you like about fall?

Even though it's still hot, fall is in the air.  I just love fall.  The leaves begin to change colors, the air is a little crisper in the morning, and the holidays are soon to come.  During this time of year, I begin to crave anything pumpkin flavored.  My favorite pumpkin treat is pumpkin pie (of course), but not far behind is Starbucks Pumpkin Spice latte (skinny). Soon, the weather will cool down and day becomes shorter.  You can almost smell fall in the air as it gets closer.  What is your favorite season?  Why is your favorite?  What do you like to do during that time of year? 

Welcome Back!  I'm excited to start a new school year with YOU!  Third grade will have it's challenges, but that comes growth and knowledge.  This year you will learn about many new things and we just might have a little bit of fun while doing it!  Tell me a little bit about yourself!  Include your name, age, and favorite subject in school.  Also tell me what you did over summer vacation?  Did you... go on a special trip?  Visit relatives?   Go somewhere exciting?
