Allen, Tom, and Lucas go out for pizza. Their meal comes to $10.00 after tax. They decide to split the meal evenly. If they could split the meal evenly, how much would each friend pay? Why won't this work?

You have $7, your cousin has $9, and your two friend each have $11. You use all of this money to buy tickets for carnival rides. Each ticket costs $2.

    A) How many tickets can you buy total?

    B) Can you split the tickets evenly among all of you? Explain.

    C) How are you planning to break up how any tickets each person gets? Explain how many you, your cousin, and two friends each get and why.
