I absolutely loved Football Hero. I have never really read any fiction sports books, but this book definitely opened my eyes an exciting new genre.
The characters were lovable and so realistic. Ty is a strong, admirable character for putting up with so much and not trying to burden his older brother on the brink of fame. I totally hated his uncle for being such a slime ball.
The actual football plays and games were fun to read about and really exciting. The author's description was intense and really captivating right up to the last page. I even learned a little about the technical aspects of football by reading this book!
