Let me tell you a story. When I was about 8 years old I was in a beauty pageant. They asked me a question. " What do you want to be when you grow up?" I wasn't sure so I asked my mother what she thought I should be when I grow up. She told me that computers will be running the world by the time I was grown up. So I wrote Computer Analyst. At the time I had no clue what that was since back when I was a child internet did not exist. Anyway, all my life I have been saying I want to be a computer analyst because my mother told me to. I had no plans, no time line and time was steady passing me by. By the time I was in high school I did not want to be a computer analyst. As a matter of fact I had no clue what I wanted to be. I graduated and went to college and majored in "UNKNOWN". Yes they let you do that. It's for people who haven't made a decision on what they want to specialize in. Well, I went to college, took classes and passed but did not know what life had in store for me. Overall, if I had made a decision on my own when I was just a child my life may have been different. Although I love my job as an educator I may have been so much further if I had a better plan. Start early and victory will be yours. SUCCESS is a great thing.
