    Format: Size 12 font, single spaced, Must be 5 paragraphs. (Each paragraph must include 5-7 sentences).

    Prompt: As the 2009-2010 school year comes to an end, many memories have come about. Good ones, bad ones, funny ones, emotional ones, and ones full of nonsense.
         Please provide a brief description of your fondest memories. In addition, you may include your first impressions of your teachers throughout the first week of school. Contrast those first impressions to the way you see those teachers now, at the end of the year. (Note: Nothing nice to say? Don't say it at all. This is a public, after all.) 
         You may include memories that happened outside of the classroom, friends you made, and dances that you enjoyed. Please be responsible, creative, and mature about the subject.

    Finally, I would like to thank all of my students for a wonderful and many memories.

    On May 11, 2010 we had three amazing guest for career day.  Provide a three (3) paragraph essay summarizing each guest and how mathematics is incorporated in their everyday life.  Please be descriptive and make sense

                Students are to create their own word problem.  The math content present in the word problem comes from material that has been covered by the teacher only.  All classes have been explained in depth what is expected of them.  Also, the grading scale has been discussed.

     

    The requirements for the word problem are as follows:

    1. Provide Directions.
    2. 5-7 well structured sentences.  Paragraph must include a Main Idea, Background Information and any other related information.
    3. Provide formulas if needed.
    4. Variables must be identified.

     

    Reminders:

                Do not submit answer with question.  Answers will be collected on Friday, as discussed in class.

                Plagiarism will not be tolerated.

     

    The assignment will be due before Friday 1/15/2010.  No late exemptions.  If you have questions or concerns, don not hesitate to ask me before the due date.
