This blog is intended as a way for my students to share ideas, offer their responses to classroom  reading and  writing assignments, and communicate about moments in class. 

      Students, keep your contributions specific to our classroom discussions and assignments only.  Let's not post something just to see your name on the page.  Offer comments that you didn't have time to make in class...or were too shy to say.  Suggest essay topics, add background knowledge for one of our discussions, or comment on school issues.  Since last year was my first attempt at trying to offer a blog, I'm just learning this process.  There are extra credit possibilities for particularly worthwhile contributions.
