    Two months into Homework Club!

    I am so please with the attendance in the Media Center after school.  We have students that come in every afternoon to study, others that come once a week because they just have homework on Monday. The tutoring is also going well.  The 8th grade NJHS members are just wonderful helping the little ones. 
     
    Remember AR test can be taken after school, checking books in and out as well as working on Criterion.
     
    Just a reminder to the parents....PLEASE don't park in the front circle to come in and get your child.  If you want to come in you must park on the street.  The front circle is for BTB pickup between 3:00 & 6:00.  Your students are watching for you at 3:30 if you just want to roll through the circle to pick them up.

    The last school day of October!

    I can't believe it is the end of October already.  First quarter is over report cards go home today and then next week is November!  Where do the days and weeks go. 
    This week we received many new books. Several new AR titles some of which are lives of saints were also put out this week.  Come by and take a look the books are right as you come in the door.  See you soon have fun at the Fall Festival.
    Thanks Mrs. Harrison and all the 8th grade students for doing the Fall Festival for the rest of us.  We know it is a whole lot of work but we "LOVE IT!"

    Thursday mornings Media Center will NOT be open

    Starting Thursday, November 5 the Media Center will not open until 8:00 a.m.  Mrs. Clements needs to attend weekly morning meetings in the school conference room.

    And a new quarter begins!

    Hope everyone had a good long weekend.  Today begins a brand new quarter.
    With all that happens during this quarter it is going to go fast.  Don't wait on those AR titles.  I have just put out 50 new books some of which are AR.  For those boys who have been waiting for new STAR WARS titles they are here and out.  And for my friends in fourth and fifth grade who love those TWISTED JOURNEY books we have new titles!

    MEDIA CENTER CLOSED FOR THE DAY!

    It was very strange not to have students roaming about in the Media Center on Tuesday.  Mr. Vickery our school superintendent and several principals from around the Diocese had a joint meeting.  Mrs. Gendusa was the host principal.  The chorus sang for them and did an OUTSTANDING JOB!  It was fun to be the host school so we could so what a great school Trinity is.
     
    It will be nice to get back to all the activity in the Media Center today.

    Deadline for AR is fast approaching.

    Don't forget the media center is open before and after school for taking AR tests.  Also during middle school lunch the media center is open and computers are available for AR tests.  Don't delay!
     
    The new writing program being used in middle school you can work on from the computers in the media center...again before and after school.  No reservations needed!  Walk ins welcome!

    Orlando is a nice place to visit...BUT THE TRAFFIC!  So glad to be back in Tallahassee...I know THE TRAFFIC! when you know where you are going the traffic doesn't seem so bad.  Glad to be back at school.

    Fun at FAME

    I just got back to my hotel room in Orlando.  The FAME conference has given me some great ideas that I can't wait to bring back to the Trinity Media Center.  Tomorrow I head back to Tallahassee.  See you Monday!
