    Last week of school

    I miss you guys so much! I can't believe I missed Invention Convention and Field Day!  I had surgery to take my appendix out, but I am at home resting now.  I hope to see you at the party Friday.
    So, since I missed both days, tell me something about Invention Convention and/or Field Day.

    Thanksgiving

    Thanksgiving is all about showing our thanks for what we have.  What or who  are you grateful for?  How will you show someone that you are thankful for them?  Do you think it is necessary to let others know of their importance in our lives?

    Mrs. Wicker's Trip

    Mr. & Mrs. Wicker took a trip from Roswell, GA to Highlands, NC on Wednesday.  Thursday, they took a trip from HIghlands to Cherokee, NC and they took the scenic route.  They were going to come home Friday morning, but the weatherman said it would be raining.  Since they were on Mr. Wicker's Harley, they decided to stay one more night and take the fast way home on Saturday.
    How many miles round trip do you think they traveled?  What do you think was their highest elevation?
    You may use mapquest, google maps, an atlas or whatever you like to predict the mileage and elevation.  The winner of both answers will get a prize!  The prize will be awarded on Monday!
    I miss you all and can't wait to see you Monday!
