    Today for homework we have grammar. We had our own olympics today. Some of the events we did were discuss, javelin, chariot race, 100 yd dash, and long jump. In reading we learned comprehension strategies and started reading a play. In Math we worked on elapsed time in our guided math groups. We also learned what compound subjects and predicates.

     Today in reading we learned about suffixes and how to figure out the meaning of words we don't know.In math we learned about time. For homework we have page pw33 time. We started a personal narrative in writing by thinking of topics. We went over our column homework from Monday and tried to guess what type everyone's columns were. By: Chloe

    Reading: Today we finished our book Wild Baby Animals!

    Writing: We published our favorite place paragragh!

    Math: We had math centers today [timed math center,math book,Miss.Casey, and making numbers.]

    We had our second day of Codak test!

    Writing: In writing we edited our partner's "Favorite place paragraph"!

    Reading:  We read about a few baby animals in our book Wild Baby Animals.

    Math:  Mrs.Casey gave us math problems to solve.

    Today we had the Codak test.

    Reading- We learned ways to handle if we get distracted while we read. We are working on knowing ourselves as readers.

    Writing- We typed our color poems.

    Math- We reviewed rounding and learned how to do it with 1,000s. We also did Guided Math Centers.

    Science- We worked on our Rock Observations.

    We went to PE for Specials. 

    Homework tonight is PW 12 in Math. You may do PW 11 if you need extra practice. Remember to practice your math facts for 5 minutes and read for 20 minutes.
