What are they doing in the lab?

Kindergarten and 1st Grade are working with Pixie to finish their "All About Me" books. They did an awesome job and we are just putting the final touches on them before we print.

2nd Grade is has been busy writing stories with the StoryMaker website. They are also practicing their typing skills. We are now learning how to format our text.

3rd Grade is learning Excel. We pretended that we were Popcorn Salespeople and then totalled and charted how many boxes that were sold.

4th Grade and 5th Grade did an amazing job with our Comic Life software creating comics about Recycling. They are now at the beginning stages of Podcasts and writing their scripts about our experiences from this school year. I can not wait to hear them.

New Year, New Project

Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th Graders are hard at work learning and refreshing their Powerpoint skills. Second Grade is learning how to graph with a computer using our program, Graph Club. First Grade and Kindergarten are learning how to draw using only shapes with Pixie. Ask them about their Penguins.

Scratch - 4th and 5th Graders are Learning How To Use Scratch

Our fourth and fifth grade students are learning how to use Scratch. Scratch is a programming language, created by MIT, that makes it easy to create your own interactive stories, animations, games, music and art.

I can't wait to see what they create.
