    Hey there you Cool Cats,
We sure explored a lot about the number 50 and what it was like to live in the 50's.  What would you like about living back then?  What do you think would be hard if you went back in time to live in the 1950's?  Let us know your thoughts...

    Dear Class,
Tell us about your Fall Party/Parade experience.  How did you feel about your costume this year?  Which game was your favorite at our party?  How did you enjoy the parade of kindergartners?  How about the beautiful day for our costume parade?
Tell us your favorite part of the day.

    Hi Girls and Boys,
Tell us about Pumpkin Math and Candycorn Math.  What did you learn?  We estimated the circumference of the pumpkin.  Did your pumpkin float?  How many seeds did your group count?  Was your estimate close to the real number?  We had 1,045 seeds total for all four pumpkins.  Do you remember how we got that total with flats, rods, and units?
We also measured length using candycorn.
How do you feel about special math days?  Would you like to more of these holiday math lessons?

    Dear Boys and Girls,
Scarecrow Day was such a fun day full of learning.  Tell us about your favorite part.  Which station did you like the best?  Why?  How did you feel about dressing up like a scarecrow?  Did you share the slideshow with your parents?

    Hey Boys and Girls-
Johnny Appleseed Day sure was fun!  Write and tell us about your favorite part.  Did you like the inside parade, painting seasons of trees, tasting different apples, or making applesauce, weighing apples, or measuring them with cubes?  Did you like the secret star in the middle of the apple, or tracking Johnny's journey on the map?  I know you liked the tasting party!  What about the Pie Graph, bar graph, picture graph, or apple tree charts.  We sure learned a lot about looking at data!  We would love to hear your thoughts and opinions!
