    HEllO Bassett Buddies (+Parents)!!!

I am so excited to begin ROCK WEEK! This is my FAVORITE week in Kindergarten.  We will begin to learn about God as Creator and how Jesus built his Church on a rock.   Everyone will receive their rock this week and learn their EXTRA special word of faith.  Thank you to ALL of my parents for making the first FULL week a HUGE success.

    God Bless,

    Mrs. Bassett

We did not have our Howard Park picnic today.  We decided to stay at school due to the weather.  We moved tables, put down blankets and had a classroom picnic.  We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.  The kids loved it!

Tomorrow we will have an extended outdoor recess and play games. The students were very excited about that! Have a great day.

Good morning!  Give thanks to the Lord that the sun is shining!

Our class is finishing our blank books and beginning to learn about insects and bugs!  Today each student picked their favorite bug and we created a bar graph.  The ladybug won by a landslide!  Have a great day!

We continue to work on our memory books.  Each student is transforming their book into a timeless memory!

We will have a science test this afternoon.  This will complete our science unit entitled: All About Plants.  The students are very excited!

    Have a wonderful weekend!

The end of the year is almost here, only 16 days left! The year has flown right by!   All of my  students have taught ME so much. Thank you to all of the parents AND to the students!

We began our Kindergarten memory books this week.  The class enjoyed adding the picture that I took on the first day of school.  It is truly amazing to see how much each child has grown.
