By the end of class on Feb. 16 (7L) or Feb 17 (7G) you need to turn in your 1st draft of your pathfinder topic. The template for the pathfinder can be downloaded from my "Library Documents" page.

Your draft should include an updated Header with your topic, an updated introductory statement about your topic, keywords, subject headings and your Wikipedia topic.

If you have and questions/problems please post a comment on this post in the comment section below.

One of the most important skills needed to do effective searching is to be able to identify terms to use for your search. This applies not only to library catalogs, but also to Internet searching. I would like you to identify key words, and then look for relevant Library of Congress Subject Headings (LCSH) that you can use with your topic. Create a "My Ideas" note card in NoodleTools to list the words and subject headings that you come up with.
