I've been thinking about the best way to solve this issue. I'm up for suggestions if you don't feel this is the best solution. Last week I was out unexpectantly on Monday so the kids did not get their Math homework. I know this type of thing will happen again. Sometimes we don't get to it, or we just get so busy, we forget to pass it out. I know that many of you question the missing homework sheet because you want to make sure your child came home with it. This is the best solution I've come up with so far. If you make a comment about their missing homework sheet and I DON'T respond, that means it wasn't sent home. I will respond if they misplaced it.  How does that sound? I appreciate your feedback! Thanks!

I hope everyone is feeling great about the first few weeks of school. I don't know about you, but I'm exhausted! I am really enjoying getting to know everyone. The first few weeks are review. We will get into our reading series stories after this week. How do you feel about the first few weeks of school?
