    Hey y'all.  I don't think this is going to work for you to interact freely about your paper.  I have to approve every comment before it's posted, and that may not be in time for when you need to see it.  Sorry!  I'm sure you have other ways of getting in touch with each other.  It was definitely a good idea, though, and if I figure out how to make it happen, we'll do it.

    Given the story's end, which character do you think is worse, Rainsford or General Zaroff?  Why?  Support your response with at least 3 pieces of evidence from the story and/or relation to real life.

    Shirley Jackson once said that she was partially influenced by the Holocaust when she wrote "The Lottery."  Using two examples from the story, respond to how you as the reader see this idea at work.  Make sure to sign your name using ONLY your first and last initials.  DO NOT sign with your entire name.
