Red Ribbon week is this month, but the idea of finding your natural high in life should be a focus all year, every year.  At first wearing a red ribbon was a way to honor a Kiki Camerena who lost his life in the line of duty fighting drug related crime.  Teachers and parents realize that teens face many challenging situations and that you need to be ready to handle them and comfortable asking for help when you need it.  Please take some time to browse at one or more of the following web site to learn about how you can stay drug free.  After you have learned something new return to this blog and post a freindly letter to your peers encouraging them to be drug free, how to refuse drugs and why they should be drug free.  Your letter could include a poem or song to make your point, but the letter should be in letter format, with a date, greeting, message (writtten in complete words and complete sentences) a closing and your name.
