    LEAP-  Today you worked on worksheets for Units 1 and 2 of The Shadow Man.  Unit 1 is vocabulary skills and Unit 2 is comprehension skills.  Bell activity check is December 14, 2009.

    Math-  Today you started with your TEST on Samples and Populations. After your test, you worked on handout Shape-Ups.

    Homework:
    1. Complete handout Shape-Ups. Be prepared for it to be graded for accuracy.
    2. Spinoffs from Space project due Wednesday, December 9, 2009. If you need additional copies, you may purchase them from the school library.
    3. See Home Page - Announcements for Exam Schedule. Exams start Tuesday, December 15, 2009.

    LEAP-  Today you read chapter 3 of the Shadow Man.  Bell activity check is December 14, 2009.

    Math- Today you took a quiz on "Sample Population Definitions."  The quizzes were graded and returned today.  Then you reviewed for tomorrow's test.

    Homework:  Study for test.

    LEAP- Today you completed the homework that you did not complete.  All students were given another proportion worksheet with word problems.  You were told that there would be a quiz on proportions on Wednesday.

    Homework: 
    1. Complete the worksheet.
    2. Prepare for the quiz on proportions.

    Today you started with Find It Monday - Finding math in a statistics page from yesterday's Saints versus Rams game. Then your homework was checked on your homework checklist. You were then given a handoutPythagorean Theorem Review Sheet. We set #1 up together and worked it out.
     
    Homework:
    1. Complete handout from class.

    LEAP-  Today after the bell activity, you watched a movie on how math is found in roller coasters.

    Math-Today your homework was checked on your homework checklist.  Mrs. Vogel and her class came as guests and we combined classes. You were then introduced to the Pythagorean Theorem when a leg was missing.
     
    Homework:
    1. AGAIN WORK ON Practice Workbook pages 123-124, numbers 4-9, 13, and 19 ONLY!
