    First Day of Spring.....

    This week we are going to continue to work on inferences and the WikiMyth.  If you haven't checked out the wiki site, stop by and learn about some of the world's different mythological figures.  We are still working on it so there it is a bit messing, but it is coming along nicely.

    As the students know we are creating a WikiMyth site.  Anyone of my students can access and edit the site.  Furthermore, each student is responsible for one entry on the site.  You and the students can access the site by clicking here.

    Please note that this is a work in progress so it still looks a little rough at the moment.

    Half Way Mark... is on the horizon

    This week we are continue to work on our Choose Your Own Adventure Stories, which are going very well.  Additionally, we are still plugging away at A Christmas Carol and talking more about the features of books.  Oh and we will continue to examine different types of poems.  A full week, but nothing we can't handle.

    The holidays are upon us....

    This week we are elbow deep into our group writing projects and for the most part I think it is going well.  There are, of course, some minor issues, but for the most part it is going well.

    Also, we went to the play yesterday, which was amazing, as always.

    Finally, we are having only one reading day this week, so it is really important that students don't forget to keep reading.
