    You will begin by writing a simple event/story from the summer. Be sure to: Explain, Identify, Set the Scene, Describe, and Relate it to the Audience.   Not necessarily in this order.  We will share some of these in class and examine the details, so write appropriatelly.

    Grade 9:  Add three diagrammable (yes, diagrammable) sentences below. We will most likely be using some of these in class exercises, so make sure you can do anything you ask another student to accomplish.   

    Rules of engagement:
    - After each sentence, write your last name and the block of your English class.
    - You MUST include a subject and verb and at least one or all of the following: adjective, adverb, prepositional phrase.
    - You MAY include a subject complement or direct object if desired.
