    PTSO needs 110 volunteers for the Spring Carnival coming up in a couple of weeks.  We only have 12 volunteers at this time.  If you are able to support us please let me know by way of the following:

    Please let Linda Krambeer know if you are able to support the Spring Track and Field days by email at: lkrambee@pineisland.k12.mn.us or reply to the blog.


    We need to have 5-6 timers each day for support.
    The dates of assistance are:
    Gr. 4 - May 12 8:15-9:45
    Gr. 6 - May 14
    Gr. 5 - May 15
    Relay Races May 20th 11:00-11:30
    May 21st Rain day

    Help is needed during Learning Centers and Guided Reading time, to help with listening to students read and answering questions.


    Days and times are:
    Tuesdays: 9:25 - 10:30
    Wednesday:  9:25 - 10:30
    Thursday:  9:25 - 10:30

    • Preparing books to be added to the collection - stamping, labeling, and covering.
    • Cutting.
    • Making and hanging decorations, etc. - seasonal, special days/weeks.
    • Cleaning or repairing damaged items
    • Putting lexile labels on books (on-going project).
