    Welcome to the Mustang's Team! Also Congratulations! You have found the extra credit for first quarter!   For extra credit in reading and English, you may post on this Blog page.
    How many of you came to summer school?  We had a really fun time in summer school.  During the morning I taught a portion of Thrills, Chills, and Spills.  I taught Crime Scene Investigation.  My class made detective agencies and then solved a crime scene.   In the afternoons we took lots of fun field trips.  Field trips included visits to the Mark Twain Landing, Hannibal Community Pool, Tangerine Bowl, and to the movie theater.

    Donor's Choose

    We LOVE Donor's Choose!
    Good news Mustangs and former Pegasus students.  We will be getting some new things from Donor's Choose!  Our class will be getting a new printer/scanner to continue  our team newspaper, a webcam to talk to our penpals in Taiwan, and sports equipment for FCA!

    Summer is HERE!!!!!!

    What have you been doing on your summer break?  Are you planning to come to Summer School?  We have many fun activities planned, so if you haven't considered coming to summer school, maybe you will change your mind.  Mrs. Sanders, Mrs. Tucker, Mrs. Smith, and I will be teaching Chills, Spills, Thrills, and More.  During this unit you will make a detective agency and solve a crime scene, create a theme park, and make rockets.  You will also become a storm chaser and learn about extreme weather.  As an ending activity we will be going to Six Flags!  We are planning to have a lot of fun.
     
    In the afternoons we will have a daily field trip to places like the Community Pool, the Landing, and Scotty's Skateland.

    Time Capsule

    We have the chance to put some items into a time capsule at the new ballfield.  What items do you think should be included in the time capsule.  I am thinking that our word snapshots would be perfect to include, because they give a clear snapshot of 2009.  What do you think?

    MAP TEST English

    MAP Test

    Do you know what "CR" means?
    Do you know the parts of a friendly letter?
    Do you know how to write good sentences?
    Do you know where to put quotation marks in conversation?
    These are all skills we have been working on this past month in English class.
    We have been working hard to prepare for the MAP test.

    Concession Stand
