Please have all of your students who are planning to attend RCC fill out the application.  Last year we were able to award scholarships to almost every student who met the qualifications.

Here is some information about the RCC Foundation Scholarships:

The RCC Foundation offers numerous scholarships to RCC students. Students must have applied for admission to RCC or be currently enrolled to be eligible for RCC Foundation Scholarships. Eligible applicants must have at least a 2.0 GPA and plan to enroll for at least six credit hours during both fall and spring semesters of 2015-2016. Most scholarship recipients will be notified of their award prior to the fall semester. Scholarship awards are split between fall and spring semesters and, in most cases, will be credited to the recipients' accounts before fall semester. In order to receive your scholarship, you must maintain the minimum 2.0 GPA and remain enrolled for at least six credit hours. Please note that some scholarships require a GPA higher than 2.0, enrollment in more than 6 hours, and/or enrollment in a certain program. You will forfeit your scholarship if you fail to maintain the requirements for your scholarship. Scholarships will not be paid for auditing courses unless the audit is required to progress toward your degree.

Please go to this link to fill out your scholarship application:

We make most of these awards in the summer so the students will not find out before the end of the school year.

Interested seniors will be required to submit an application that includes an essay, letters of recommendation, and an official transcript.  Make sure to send the transcript to the RCC Foundation and NOT the admissions office.  I have attached the application packet to this email.  Incomplete applications will not be considered.  The application deadline is March 31 at 5 p.m.
