Hi Fourth Graders!  So, the first quarter of your fourth grade year has come and gone.  Take some time to reflect and respond to the following questions for our blog:

What was one of the most challenging obstacles for you?  Is there anything you wish you could do over?

Hey Fourth Graders - Time for a new post on our blog.  So, we have been reading Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbit - take a few minutes to respond to the following question:  Up to this point, what has been your favorite part of the book and why?

    Here's mine:

My favorite part of Tuck Everlasting was when the Tucks were explaining to Winnie Foster about the first time they knew something 'strange' was happening to them.  They talked about Jesse falling out of a tree and the horse getting shot - but, to their surprise, nothing terrible happened to either. This section allowed me to visualize this scene in my brain!

Hey Fourth Graders!  Take some time to respond to this blog about your favorite book.  Include the title, author, a brief summary of the book, and why you like it so much!  Have fun and be creative!

    Here's mine:

One of my all-time favorite books is Tuck Everlasting, by Natalie Babbit.  Tuck Everlasting is a fantasy children's novel that was first published in 1975. The book explores the concept of immortality and the reasons why it might not be as beneficial as it appears at first glance.  I really enjoy this book because it's a great story with complex characters and many unexpected twists and turns. - Mr. Maxwell
