The Office of Financial Aid and Veterans Affairs would like to remind everyone that we are hosting “FAFSA Evenings” sessions in an effort to help students complete the Free Applications for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). These sessions are open to students who plan to attend college in the 2017-18 academic year.

They are being held April 25-27 until 7:00 p.m. each evening in Room 111 of the Business Education Center (BEC) on the Asheboro Campus. The event is free and students (or parents) should register by clicking on the link below.

http://www.randolph.edu/financial-aid/118-students/financial-aid/financial-aid-announcements/1502-still-need-help-applying-for-financial-aid.html

Participants should bring their completed 2015 federal 1040 tax forms and W-2 forms (dependent students should bring a copy of their parents’ completed 2015 federal 1040 tax forms and W-2 forms). In addition to tax information, each student and one parent of a dependent should obtain a FSA ID prior to FAFSA Day from the U.S. Department of Education at https://fsaid.ed.gov/.

Please feel free to contact the Office of Financial Aid and Veterans Affairs with any questions!

Sincerely,

Joey Trogdon

Asst. Director of Financial Aid and Veterans Affairs
