    Attention Seniors planning to attend RCC: The Randolph Community College Foundation Presidental Scholars Program application is available through Feb. 13. This scholarship program provides $1250 for Fall and Spring semestesr and is renewable for a second year of study at RCC. Students who are chosen will also serve as ambassadors for RCC, will meet with the RCC president regularly and participate in a Student Leadership Academy during their first year of enrollment. 5 high school seniors will be chosen...Will one of them be you!!?!?     We just learned of 2 other scholarship opportunities we would like to share with you.

    CFNC T-Shirt Design Contest
    CFNC is hosting a social media promotion to reach high school students and encourage them to
    engage more comprehensively with CFNC.org and its accompanying social media accounts. The
    promotion is structured as a “T-Shirt Design Contest” where students create and submit original
    artwork, featuring the name of their high school and CFNC messaging, to be voted upon by their
    peers. Ten winning designs will be selected and each winner will receive 250 winning design T-shirts

    KYLE BYRD MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
    Once again, the North Carolina JCI Senate, in conjunction with the United States JCI Senate Foundation, will be awarding scholarships to deserving High School Seniors. The North Carolina JCI Senate scholarships are given in memory of Kyle Byrd whose parents are North Carolina JCI Senators from Apex. Kyle was tragically killed while still enjoying high school. The North Carolina JCI Senate will award two $500.00 scholarships in 2015, and submit two scholarship applications to the United States JCI Senate Foundation to be evaluated for $1,000.00 scholarships. The two scholarship applications submitted for national competition may or may not be the same applicants receiving North Carolina JCI Scholarships.

    Attention Seniors.  The Asheboro Rotary Club Scholarship is now available in the counseling office.  The deadline to apply is Friday, January 23rd.  This scholarship is presented each year based on  academics, character and leadership ability.  Applicants should have a financial need for scholarship aid as a help in continuing his or  education beyond high school.  Applicants must be US Citizens or US legal permanent residents
