    Connections Connections Everywhere!

    So it's January and we've read 9 stories so far in our reading book.  Which has been your favorite and why?  Do you connect somehow to this story?  Does it remind you of another story you've read or maybe it reminds you of something happening in the world?  I'd love to hear about it!  Ready?  Set??  BLOG!!!

    Hi kids!  So I wanted to check in and see how you're all feeling so far about third grade.  What are you finding the easiest for you so far?  What is still kinda tough?  Here are some thoughts to get you going...RATE, subject/predicate, guide words, writer's workshop, long and short vowel sounds...

    A brand new school year!  Dontcha just love it??  New teachers, fresh books and school supplies, new friends and familiar ones too, the smell of fall in the air...I love back to school time!  Since this is our first blog, let's just get talking!  Anything goes on this one.  Where did your feet take you this summer?  Are you excited about third grade or not so much?  It's ok!  Be honest!  I can take it!  What are you hoping third grade will be like?  One to get ready...two to get steady...and three to BLOG!
