    The Chicks are coming!

    Our chicks should be arriving on Tuesday.  This is so exciting!  We candled 16 eggs and our prediction is that 13 are going to hatch.  This is peep peep perfect!

    Measure It!

    We have been learning all about measurement.  Today, we learned about a kilogram.  We used the scale to compare classroom items. Can you find something in your home that weighs more than a kilogram?  How about less than a kilogram?  Which food item did we use to compare the weight of a kilogram?

    The Book Fair is Coming!

    When the Book Fair comes to our school, I look through the flyer and think about what books I want to get.  I L-O-V-E books.  I can still remember one of my very first Wilson School Book Fair purchases.  Want to take a guess?  Do you think you can name one of my favorite books that I bought right from Wilson School?  Hints: talking animals, oink, a farm, a little girl...go ahead...guess!
