I know you are feeling a little sad that you have to say goodbye to all of the wonderful friends you made this year. Please use this blog to keep in touch over the summer months. Below I have posted a few pictures of service animals. We have been learning a lot about the different types of service animals and the great things they do for people with disabilities. How do you think these service animals help the people they are with in the picture? How do you think they were trained to be service animals?

We recently read the realistic fiction story "Henry and Mudge" in class. Henry felt lonely before he got Mudge because he didn't have any brothers or sisters to play with. He also did not have any children to play with on his street. Have you ever felt lonely?Do you have any brothers or sisters to play with? What kind of things do you do to have fun when you don't have anyone to play with?

I look forward to reading your blogs! :)

In "Frog and Toad All Year" the two characters are very neighborly and do something nice for one another. Tell about a time that you did something that was neighborly. How did you feel after you did it? How did the other person feel?
