    Dear Parents,

I am sending you an email as I wanted to tell you about a new on-line grading program that I am trying this semester. You will be receiving an email from me within the next few days that will send you to a link that will allow you and your son/daughter to access their grade via the internet.

Please note that it will not replace any direct communication with me and you – while the program allows me to put in a few comments, it will not give you the full picture that an in-person/telephone/email communication does, but it will give you a chance to looks at the grades as your schedule permits.   Also please understand that the turn-around time for grading assignments is not instantaneous and so recent grades will not appear immediately.

I hope that this will help your student with understanding what their role is as a student here at Prep and gives them another means to understand their successes in my class.

    Best wishes,

    Helen Haskell
