    After viewing the presentation in class on Multiple Intelligences, please do the following assignment.  Submit your answer here, but you must have a copy of your assignment saved to your home directory, so I suggest writing the assignment first in Microsoft Word:

    1. Name the eight multiple intelligences (MI’s) and list an example of a job held by people with strengths in each one.
    2. Which MI’s are your strengths? Why? Which MI’s are your weaknesses? Why? Be specific as you describe your own strengths and weaknesses.

    {Extra challenge: Think about your favorite teachers again. Which MI’s did your favorite teachers ask you to use when you were in their class? Describe the activities and how they helped you use some of the MI’s.}

    Write the following assignment in Microsoft Word and save it into your home directory's Unit 1 folder.  Then copy and paste it into the comment section below:

    Think about some of the best teachers you have ever had.  Part 1: Make a list of the names of three of the best ones.  Then write about each teacher.  What did you like about each teacher's personality?  What types of activities did they do that you enjoyed?  Why do you think you learned well that teacher's classroom?     Part 2: What sorts of subjects or activities do you think you could teach?  Do you think you could ever be a school teacher?  Why or why not?

    Choose and complete one of the two choices below and write an essay at least 300 words in length.  Type your essay and save it as "Assignment A" in your home directory on your computer.  Then click below where it says "Add a Comment" and then copy and paste your assignment into the space provided and submit your blog (along with your name or pseudonym and email address):

    Choice 1: Title the page “My Brush With Danger”. Describe a time in your life when you felt that you were in a dangerous or even life-threatening situation. First tell the story as it happened from beginning to end. Then write about how you got in that situation in the first place. Were there any choices that you made that led to the situation? Was there anything you could have done differently? What did other people do that led to the situation? What could they have done differently?

                                                                 OR

    Choice 2: Title the page “My Interests”. Describe some of your favorite things to do in or out of school. These could be your hobbies, interests, or things that you are good at. Then choose just one of those things and describe it more fully. How did you learn about it? How did you get good at it? Why do you like it?
