Hi all, We are in St Malo.....it is still raining and Monsieur and Madame are still making us walk everywhere. We are all getting along with our families. We are getting a lot better at French learning slang as well!! we went to classes with the French students and it was quite an experience. Madame was thrilled as she longed for us to experience the excruciating sitting for one hour without asking to go to the bathroom. In English class, we participated and assisted the teacher and the French students asked us questions about our life in America. Yesterday we visited the Mt St Michel! Is was old! ... Really impressive but again, lots of stairs... We climbed stairs every single day! Everyone here has been very nice and welcoming. Happy Valentines Day Bisous , Bisous Le groupe

We went to Versailles on Saturday, A tour of the Palace and promenade in the park. I should say brisk walk to warm up. Still no rain so we fell lucky. Then back in Paris Arc de Triomphe and Champs Élysées. Dinner is a restaurant where the students are being extremely courageous, trying new food! Escargots a must! Yesterday was our busiest day. Eiffel Tower in the morning, early and very very cold, the good part there was no one in line for the tickets. Then we took the metro to the Louvre. We ended the day at Notre Dame where we stayed for a while, to visit and mostly I must admit to get shelter from the rain/snow ... cold .... don't exactly know anymore... All I remember is the kids looking at us with faces that said a lot.... So we thought a little rest was necessary! But we are not quitters. So off we went to dinner, where we had another great meal!. Then the rain stopped and we returned to the hotel along the Seine, and there again we fell the magic! Paris by night!... Forgot all about the rain. Today is our last day, we are off to St Malo tonight! Best Regards The group.

Our first day was very busy. After a seven hour flight , we arrived at the hotel exhausted but ready to go. We settled at the hotel for 30 minutes and we headed toward le Musee d'Orsay. What a great museum! amazing collection and the building itself is breathtaking. What made it even better is to see the paintings we talked about in class when we were freshman! Then we walked walked and walked some more along the Seine, past the Louvre, rue de Rivoli, saw the Comedie Francaise, walked more , ignored the cold and the rain. Finally we had a wonderful dinner. Shrimp salad, salmon in a cream sauce or duck a l'amandine. Fondant au chocolate. Jealous yet? Today we are off to Versailles. Best regards from Paris. Le Groupe
