    What's a blog? - check out this link:  http://codex.wordpress.org/Introduction_to_Blogging

We will use blogs in the Spanish classroom at least one time per quarter in order to practice the world language standard of written COMMUNICATION.
You will both write a response to a prompt and communicate with other peers by asking and answering questions related to the provided topic.

The communication standard stresses the use of language for communication in "real life" situations. It emphasizes "what students can do with language" rather than "what they know about language." Students are asked to communicate in oral and written form, interpret oral and written messages, show cultural understanding when they communicate, and present oral and written information to various audiences for a variety of purposes.

Here is the process that we will take:
    1.  Be sure to click on the correct blog assignment for either Spanish I or III.
    2.  Read the directions carefully and the rubric prior to beginning work.
    3. Click Add Comment.  *Located at the bottom of the blog assignment.
    4.  Create and submit your blog. You must provide a valid email address and your complete name.
    5.  The teacher will check your blog post  and provide feedback based on the provided rubric.
    6. Expect an email (be sure to check daily) which will suggest improvements to be made.  *If there are no areas for improvement the blog post will be posted on the class website.
    7. Continue to check email, make suggested revisions and re post to the blog as many times as needed.
    8.  Once your blog post is posted on the website and you have commented to other peers and responded to quetions as necessary, you have earned all of the possible points. Both parts must be completed to earn points.
