    Period 2 Fan Fiction
    "The Secret Goldfish"

Your class will tell the tale of a boy who wouldn't let anyone see his goldfish because he purchased it with his own money.

You must post at least two times between now and 11:59pm Friday.

Each post must be a complete sentence.

Your two posts may not "touch" each other.

Be creative, and adjust your writing style to the one present in the story.  You may have had a great idea, but don't throw the story off just for the sake of keeping your original notion.

Consider naming the boy and/or the goldfish, conflicts (someone trying to sneak a peek?), point of view (the boy, the goldfish, a cat), etc.

Atticus said that Mrs. Dubose had real courage.  Courage, he says, is “…when you know you’re licked before you begin, but you begin anyway and see it through no matter what.”  What is your opinion of his definition? What is your definition of courage?

Your response must be at least 5 complete sentences, and it must contain no contractions.  Post by 11:59 pm, 2/24/12.

To this day, men and women are still fascinated with both Troy and the Trojan War. What is it about Troy that intrigues us? Be sure to use specific evidence from “Unearthing Troy” (p. 1044) to answer this question. Responses should be a paragraph in length. Make sure this paragraph contains a minimum of five carefully and thoughtfully constructed sentences. Do not use contractions and do not use “I thinks.”
