Dear Students and Families,
In effort to create a better communication between home and school we are setting up a new classroom blog. Here we intend to update and share the happenings of the classroom. If you have any questions or thoughts, feel free to leave a comment below.
Last week was the first week of school, and all of the students were asked to write what they thought:
Lucas -
I think school is great so far. We have done so much. One thing we have done is reading minutes. We are trying to get to 36 minutes in 7 days.
Sam-
So far school is really fun. My favorite thing was the papier mache. I hope we can do more later in the year.
Caroline-
On the first day of school we did something called Lazy Maze. We had to make a maze for a marble. The marble had to go as slow as possible.
Nathan-
At school we named our tables. It was hard to agree. We named on table the Orange Orangatans.
Ella-
This week I had fun papier macheing the soon to be globes.
Erik-
Another thing we did this week is make table names. Our table name is Powerful Purple Ponies.
Dillon-
We are seeing how long we can read without being off task.
Eva-
We are doing poems during work on writing.
Teddy-
This week we started to make our globes. We did the papier mache.
Nolan-
This week we did a marble maze. We named our maze and it was called the Devil's Cave. The good news is it looked so cool. The bad news is we lost.
Nate-
This week we made custom book markers. Mine looks like a candy bar.
Theo, Ethan, Taylor, and Abby K.-
This week we measured each other in inches and centimeters. We measured each other in the legs, torso, neck/head, and wingspan. Later we made a graph of our height.
