    Thanksgiving Vacation

    Hi everyone. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving break.  As usual it was great to spend time at home and play mom.  Michael and I had a great break.  He rested and I cooked and baked.  Love it.  So here we are on "hunting" Monday and we are just relaxing.  Not much of a choice because I have a nail in my tire so it is getting fixed.  Turns out I needed 4 new tires.  I knew that though, the nail was just a push to actually do it. 
    Today will be filled with getting ready for tomorrow and the holiday fun to come.  I have to get the Christmas decorations up both here and in school.  Lesson plans to do and of course reading the Twilight books. I am on number 2 -- super stuff. 
    Hope you all had a great break and are ready for some very busy weeks ahead.   Remember busy but no stress. Just take a breather every once in a while and try not to wait until the last minute.,

    Thanksgiving

    Thank you all for attending the Thanksgiving feast.. .  I just need more space and then we could invite more people.  I was so happy to see everyone come and meet each other and share such a great meal. The children sang such beautiful songs and the signing was T-riffic. I was happy the extra parents snuck in too.  Everyone is welcome in room 97.  There are many exciting things happening now with the holidays quickly approaching. Please check the calendar sent home last week and don't forget to check the mail.--folders-- There are a few more items being added.  Please remember you are always welcome to come in and read or play or do other things.  If you find you are available please just send me a note and we'll see where we can use your help.  Parents are such a big part of education , I love having you around.  By the way don't forget Thursday the 19th of November you are invited to come in and do come activities with the students.  Remember you are not just watching you are participating.  Always a fun time had by all.
     
    Well I'll go for now. I seem to "blurb" about once a month so I'll talk to you in December.
     
     
    Here is a note for all first grade partnes.  The Camp Orchard Hill trip in the spring invites any oriented parent to come and play, cook and run games.  Please be sure you have your paperwork in with Mr Traver so that you can join in the fun.

    Fall is Here

    Hi Everyone. I hope you are having a wonderful year so far.  We have had some great experiences.  Johnny Appleseed day was so much fun-- and delicious.  Our Homework packets are working out well. I know you are all so busy with after school activities it really helps to manage time.  Please remember to read every night and complete those WEB reports.  The next one is due on the day before  Halloween OH NO!!     last week of summer

    The room is ready, the name tags on, the pencil boxes set.  All ready to go.  I will miss summer but the new year is always very exciting.  Boys and girls I am so excited. School will be fun and exciting.  It is a great place to grow and learn and you will meet many new friends.  Mom and dad please check the web page and folders.  There are so many opportunities for  you to come in and visit.  Check for your student of the week week--and if you have any questions please just ask.  The best way to get me is probably by e-mail. I get that ant school and home.  I try to check it often.  Thanks and Here we go!!!

    half way there

    Hi everyone, I hope you are having a wonderful summer.    Although it has been chilly we are having a wonderful summer.  Michael and I have had a few day trips and lots of projects here at home.    I have also been doing alot of work in my classroom.  I have done some major changes . I won't tell- -you'll have to wait them come and visit me.  
     
    Hope you all have a wonderful summer.  To my old friends don't forget to read and I'll see you soon.  To my new friends- can't wait to meet you-- you can read too.  Happy Summer
